Seberapa nilai akuisisi Zite oleh Flipboard yang jelas pemilik sebelumnya
CNN membeli Zite sebesar $25 juta di tahun 2011 lalu dan kali ini kabar yang berdar CNNMoney reports adalah sekitar $60 million. Dari akuisisi ini aplikasi Zite tak akan mendapatkan update lagi dan akan terintegrasi deengan Flipboard. pemilik sebelumnya CNN juga akan bekerjasama dengan Flipboard dalam hal konten yang akan ada di Flipboard secara penuh.
Dari data, saat ini Flipboard memiliki 2,5 milyar page per view dan setiap harinya ada tambahan pengguna baru sebanyak 200 ribu. Dari segi layanan, nantinya pengguna Flipboard juga akan menikmati teknologi yang sudah dihadirkan Zite sebelumnya dan akan melengkapi yang ada di Flipboard meskipun dari akuisisi ini tidak mengikutsertakan sang pendiri Zite Mark Johnson karena dia memilih untuk bersolo karier.
