Instagram Launch New Photo Collage App "Layout"

layanan photo sharing instagram milik facebook merilis aplikasi baru yang diberi nama "layout" yang dapat digunakan para pengguna ios (iphone dan ipad) tanpa harus mendaftar ataupun login menggunakan akun instagram ataupun facebook. seperti namanya "layout"seperti aplikasi kolase foto yang otomatis akan membuat kumpulan foto dalam beberapa frame (maksimal 9 frame) dari foto-foto yang ada di galeri iphone/ ipad.

ada 3 pilihan foto yang bisa diambil dari galeri dengan memilih "all" untuk semua foto, "face" hanya akan menampilkan foto dengan wajah dan "recents" yang akan menampilkan 30 foto terakhir. kolase foto yang sudah dipilihpun juga bisa diatur lagi dengan memilih menu "replace" atau mengganti gambar serta "mirror" dan "flip" untuk memutar seperti cermin maupun memutar foto.

selain kemampuan mengambil foto dari galeri untuk dijadikam kolase foto, aplikasi "layout" juga memiliki fitur "photo booth" yang dapat digunakan untuk berfoto selfie dalam beberapa gaya dan tersedia "countdown" sebelum pengambilan gambar. beberapa foto yang diambil secara langsung tersebut bisa dipilih dan langsung berupa kolase yang juga dapat dipilih dan diedit sebelum disimpan di galeri atau dibagikan melalui instagram maupun facebook dan beberapa layanan lainnya.

saat ini "layout" hanya tersedia bagi penggunba ios dan dapat didownload langsung di apple itunes store.

Instagram merilis versi baru aplikasi Instagram for iOS v.6.0.0 dan Instagram for Android dengan tambahan banyak fitur baru yang memudahkan untuk mengedit foto secara instant sebelum diupload. Sebelumnya hanya tersedia pengaturan untuk filter, frame dan lux di sebelah bawah, di versi terbaru ada 3 pilihan di menu sebelah atas dengan ikon "tools" yang berisi 10 tool foto editing yang baru yaitu adjust, brightness, contrast, warmth, saturation, highlights, shadows, vignete, til shift dan sharpen.

New Instagram For iOS Remove Auto-Share Feature To Facebook

Layanan photo and video sharing milik Facebook yakni Instagram merilis versi baru aplikasi Instagram for iOS v.5.0.11 dan yang menarik dari versi terbaru ini adalah dihilangkannya fitur auto sharing aktivitas di Instagram ke akun Facebook. Sebelumnya Instagram memiliki fitur auto sharing yang memungkinkan pengguna Instagram yang melakukan Likes atau aktifitas lain akan terlihat di timeline Facebook.

Dengan dihilangkan fitur auto sharing tersebut pengguna Instagram apabila akan membagi foto dan video yang diupload ke Facebook harus melalui tombol sharing yang umum seperti kita sharing ke social media lain seperti Twitter, Tumblr dan Flickr.

Langkah Facebook untuk menghilangkan auto sharing Instagram seperti juga langkah menghapus "messaging" di aplikasi iOS dan Android dan digantikan oleh aplikasi stand-alone milik Facebook juga yakni "Messenger".

Instagram Celebrate 200 Million Instagrammers Milestone

Instagram hari ini merayakan pecahnya rekor jumlah user sebanyak 200 Juta dan bertambahnya 100 Juta Istagrammers sejak diakuisi Facebook pada April 2012 lalu yang hanya memiliki user sebanyak 100 Juta. Pertumbuhan pengguna Instagram meningkat sebanyak 23 % dan lebih tinggi dibanding pertumbuhan Facebook yang hanya sebesar 3 %, bulan April 2012 lalu Facebook mengakuisisi Instagram dengan nilai US$1 billion.

50 juta pengguna baru Instagram sejak 6 bulan lalu seperti dikutip dari postingan blog Instagram yang juga mengungkapkan bahwa saat ini sudah 20 Miliar foto yang diupload melalui Instagram yang saat ini sudah tersedia di platform iOS, Android dan Windows Phone (Beta). New Instagram for iOS v.5.0.6 with Improvement "Lux" Feature

Aplikasi foto ternama Instagram merilis versi baru buat pengguna iOS (iPhone, iPad dan iPod Touch) dengan tambahan improve pada fitur "Lux" yaitu dengan adanya pengaturan "strengthen or soften" dengan cara slider sesuai keinginan (seperti gambar di atas). Saat ini fitur "Lux" hanya terdapat di aplikasi Instagram versi iOS saja dan belum ada di aplikasi versi Android.

Instagram Launch New Feature "Instagram Direct"

Instagram hari ini merilis fitur baru bagi pengguna iOS dan Android, fitur Instagram Direct ini sudah bisa digunakan dengan terlebih dahulu melakukan update aplikasi versi baru 5.0 Instagram for iOS dari App Store dan Instagram for Android di Play Store.

Instagram Direct merupakan fitur Instagram yang memungkinkan pengguna mengirimkan foto dan video langsung ke teman (bisa lebih dari satu teman, maksimal 15 teman atau dalam bentuk group). Foto atau video yang akan dikirimkan bisa langsung dari kamera maupun yang ada di library device kita.

Untuk menemukan fitur Instagram Direct tersebut bisa dilihat di halaman "HOME" pojok kanan atas ada ikon "Instagram Direct", klik saja dan gunakan fitur tersebut. Pesan foto/ video tersebut selain bisa dikirimkan ke follower kita juga bisa ke orang yang bukan follower kita tetapi hanya akan masuk antrian dan perlu approval dari penerima terlebih dahulu (Direct Request).

Dari segi privacy dan keamanan juga terjaga dengan adanya fitur yang memungkinkan penerima buat "Ignore" atau bahkan kalau mengganggu bisa manfaatin fitur "report abusive posts" sampai dengan "block that person". Dan yang perlu diingat bagi pengirim video/ foto bisa menghapus pesan tersebut tetapi penerima tidak akan melihat lagi pesan tersebut.

- Take a new photo/video or upload a photo/video from your camera roll. 
- Add optional effects, filters and a caption. 
- Tap Direct. You’ll see some features appear in green when you’re using Instagram Direct. 
- Tap the names of people you want to send the photo/video to (up to 15 people). 
- Tap Send. 
- The people you've sent the post to will get a notification. 
- To see posts you've sent with Instagram Direct, tap in the top right of your Home feed. 
- Posts sent with Instagram Direct can't be shared through Instagram to other sites like Facebook or Twitter. 
- You also can't tag people or use hashtags in these shared post

New Instagram Feature: Web Embeds

Instagram kemarin merilis fitur baru bagi pengguna-nya yang memungkin buat berbagi hasil jepretan foto atau rekaman video instagram dengan cara embed ke website atau blog yang dimiliki.

Saat ini fiture embed tersebut bisa ditemukan di layanan Instagram versi desktop dengan cara klik foto untuk memperbesar gambar yang diinginkan dan cari tombol "share" di sebelah kanan sampai keluar kode HTML yang disa di copy paste ke halaman web atau blog yang diinginkan.  Saat ini fitur embed ke web ini hanya berlaku buat akun Instagram yang disetting Public dan bukan private.

Click the button to see the embed code. Copy the block of text it gives you and paste it into your blog, website or article. When you hit publish, the photo or video will appear. 

As always, you own your photos and videos, and we want to make sure that’s understood no matter where your content appears. Whether you want to embed your video on your blog or a friend wants to feature your photo on a website, everyone will clearly see that your content belongs to you. Your embedded photo or video appears with your Instagram username, and clicking on the Instagram logo will take people to your page on Instagram.com where they can discover more of your photos and videos. 

Is your content private? Then nothing has changed. Embed code is only available to those whose photos and videos are public.
